Incident No: 80 2018

Location: Prudhoe

As the first incident was ending, the second one of Friday night came in. Northumbria Police requested use of #SARLOC for a vulnerable missing female in the Tyne valley.

Police were on scene in the area and thankfully soon after she was located. No further action from #MountainRescue was required.

The incident involved 1 Team member for 11 minutes.

Incident No: 40 2017

Time: 06.02hrs
Location: Prudhoe

Northumbria Police requested the assistance of North of Tyne and ourselves in locating a high risk female in her early 50s. The female was believed to be in the Prudhoe area of Northumberland.

Our Duty Controller used SARLOC but unfortunately the missing person did not respond to the SMS message. As our Duty Controller was liaising with the Police, we were notified that the female had been found.

The incident involved 2 Team members for 32 minutes.



Mountain Rescue

*** Incident No.39 ***

The Team was placed on standby this afternoon for a 15 year with a lower leg injury near to Prudhoe. After 20 minutes the Team and North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team were stood down; the North East Ambulance Service confirmed they could handle the incident.
