Incident No: 66 2017

Date: 30 December 2017
Time: 11.23 hrs
Location: Peterlee, County Durham

Well we spoke too soon! The quiet spell ended yesterday when Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team requested our assistance along with North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team and Search And Rescue Dog Association England to search for a vulnerable female. The female had been missing overnight in the Peterlee area and given the wintery conditions there was even more of an urgency to the search.

Thankfully at mid-afternoon the female was located, then treated and evacuated by the #MountainRescue teams.

A job well done.
